Well we did it, we watched our first animated film. That's right we watched Satoshi Kon's crazy horror, stalker, identity nightmare film about a Japanese pop singer who just wants to be a serious actress. Did we like it? Did it scare Cyndi to death? Join us to find out.

Well we watched a Rock Hudson movie for a horror podcast. Our first film of the month of August, a month of horror movies about identity.

Well we made it to the end of our series on Summer vacations gone horribly wrong. We figured what better way to end it than in Australia with a certified banger. We watched Dangerous Animals but did we like it? Did it scare Cyndi to death? Join us to find out. 

Ladies and gentleman sometimes you see a horror film and it's filled with complete unknowns or people making their first film. Sometimes it's a cast of up and coming actors fresh off that television show or playing the second lead in larger movies. Well, sometimes it's just a cast of certified height of their game. Which is what we have this week with The River Wild. A whitewater rafting thriller with Meryl Streep, Kevin Bacon, David Straithairn, John C. Reilly, and Joseph Mazzello.

Well our month of vacations gone wrong has landed us in the car with Steve Zahn, Leelee Sobieski, and Paul Walker as they flee from a murderous trucker who is just a voice on the radio and seemingly everywhere at once. That's right we watched Joy Ride directed by John Dahl. Did we like it? Did it scare Cyndi to death? Join us to find out. 

Hello and welcome to July. Well we finally did it, we watched the 1980's Friday the 13th. Cyndi somehow being from New Jersey had never seen this seminal slasher film and the reason for the summer camp slasher craze of the 80s. However, did we like it? Did it scare her to death? Sorry for the irregular posting of episodes. This has been a crazy summer for both of us here at Let's Scare My Girlfriend to Death. We hope to get back on track next month as we continue a Summer of horror with a month of how I spent my summer horror movies.

Hello, we are so back with a belated month of summer camp horror movies. We are going to kick this shindig off with a holdover from last month's movies about moms with The Final Girls. A little movie with a lot of heart and some incredible jokes. Join us as we venture off to the Let's Scare My Girlfriend to Death summer camp.

We continue our month of mother's day movies with a horror mom that's more cautionary than some of our previously celebrated moms. We watched and finally got to record our episode for Lights Out. If you're a long time listener you know anything that as regular and well crafted jump scares really scares Cyndi. However was it enough to kill her? You'll have to listen to find out and join us next week as we wrap up mother's day and begin June with The Final Girls.

Did you watch Panic Room and think I loved this but I wish it were a tonal roller coaster that's both funny and scary? Well then you're in luck because we watched Housebound.
