Oddity

As we end our March slate of Irish and Irish adjacent movies we had to watch the recent Oddity. This folk horror delight is easily the scariest movie we watched this month. However did we like it? Well we finally make it to Ireland for our Irish horror month. However, we have a British crew, American actors and a story that's supposed to be set in England with the Clive Barker scripted Rawhead Rex. Did we like it? Were we underwhelmed by the effects? Leprechaun

It's St. Patrick's Day so we watched Leprechaun. That's right the 1993 Warwick Davis, Jennifer Aniston starring, South Dakota set, almost classic. About a leprechaun who just wants his gold back and a group of characters who just want to survive the night. Did we like it? Were we entertained by all the random vehicles utilized by our small antagonist? Did it scare Cyndi to death? Join us to find out.

How do you follow up craziness of The Substance? How about virgin births, alien abductions, the voice of god, Richard Lynch in a blonde wig, and an alien vagina on someone's stomach. The Substance

It's officially Oscar season everyone and we save the best of our female based horror films for last. We watched The Substance which currently is nominated for Best Picture, Best Actress for Demi Moore, Best Director, Best Original Screen Play, and Best Hair and Makeup, but did we like it? Was Cyndi grossed out by all the needles entering skin and the gross body horror stuff? Did Josh gush over how much he loves this movie? Most importantly did it scare Cyndi to death?
